by admin on June 21, 2012

Tim Porter, a portfolio manager and analyst at W. H. Reaves & Co., sits down with Wall Street Week’s Al Berkeley to discuss trends in utilities, energy infrastructure, and telecom companies. In this segment, Mr. Porter explains why the separation of power generation from some regulated utilities has created opportunities for investors.

In Part Two of the video (below) Mr. Porter explains why telecom has been a good place to be this year and why he sees gains in pricing power. Also discussed, whether some utilities could see lower rates of return allowed by regulators, potentially hitting at just the wrong time.
